A promise to self broken

Fall Quarter 2005
Internship (9 hours), Classes (16 units), Genetics lab (6 hours), Work (10 hours) PER WEEK

Vowed to self not to be as busy next Winter.
Will try to take less units and spend more time with Sara. And run 4 miles twice a week.

Winter Quarter 2006
7th day of classes

AND!
Got promoted from the mouse colony to the laboratory. Tasks will include genotyping with PCR, gel electrophoresis, microarrays, and sequencing. GAH!

12 hours work per week at the Extension Center. $$$$$$$!!!! :)

Sounds like my 'resolution to not be busy' has failed. And it's only the 2nd week of 2006!

BUT LIFE IS GOOD. JOLLY GOOD. *Tee hee*

Classes are comfortably challenging.
