The residents of Ipoh Gdn East would surely know what it is that I am refering to. Yes, the big promotional board for some new shops in Station 18. Basically, the fellas were trying to convey the information about the location of the shops, but in their attempts to explain "the shop lots facing Tesco", the blockheads seem to have it in their pants to smugly put "shops FRONTING Tesco" instead.
And yes, it IS a little annoying, each time I drive home from my evening runs. 'FRONTING' just stares right back at me, as if to mock me just so. If I were a vandal, I would have done something to correct the injustice from the moment I had laid my eyes on that sign. And no, I am not a self-righteous native English speaker who finds it her God-given duty to correct every single grammatical error that other people make. But isn't this too obvious not to notice?
Gah. Someone, hand me a can of spray paint! I can't take it anymore!
