It's all good
Woohoo. Received this baby in the mail a couple of days back.
Yes, 'tis good to study in California..On top of the nice weather, nice people, nice places, you get Mr. Schwarzenegger's signature (or rather, autograph!) on your degree conferral.
Work has been nice the past week. Nice people, nice location, nice experiments, nice everything! I mean, like a 2k pay for living in Ipoh!? For an entry-level fresh grad with only a B.Sc in Bio and getting a first job that is 100% related to my degree? It's like, boy, this IS comfy. I even get to run as usual with my getting off on the dot at 5pm. And what better luck than to have work being only 2 minutes from Pologround?
BUT (ha, there is always a 'but') of course, there's always going to be something better, and lest I fall into the trap of getting "too comfortable", I'll be constantly reminding myself: You were made for more than just this.
Like saving up for a couple of years and moving overseas to work?
Like getting an M.B.A & opening a business on the side so I get to be my own boss while having a permanent job?
Like running at least one marathon in a different country every year?
Like helping the less fortunates of other SEA countries through charity runs and marathons?
Ha. Yes, I am capable and I can do it!
Because I am ME - the ultra runner. And everybody knows what runners are capable of!
